Pakistan Navy Multinational Exercises Practical demonstration of counter-terrorism

Pakistan Navy’s Multinational Exercise Peace 21 is successfully underway which was observed by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was also present on the occasion.

According to DG ISPR, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza observed the Pakistan Navy’s Naval Exercise Peace 2021.

The maritime counter-terrorism operation was demonstrated during the naval exercises. Peace 2021 involves naval assets and troops from more than 40 countries.

This is the seventh in a series of peace exercises that have been held every two years since 2006. Peace exercises will run from February 11 to February 16.

According to DG ISPR, various types of drills including unconventional threats and joint operations are being carried out in the peace exercises.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza appreciated the professionalism of the participants during the exercises. He also lauded the efforts of Pakistan Navy in conducting multilateral exercises.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza said that these exercises would promote regional cooperation and stability. The exercises will be seen as an alliance against terrorism and maritime crime.

He clarified that Pakistan is committed to the principles of peace and coexistence in the region.
