Thousands of US troops have refused to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
During a briefing to the US Congress, Arms Forces Command Surgeon Brigadier General Edward Bailey said that in some units of the Army, only 30% of personnel had agreed to be vaccinated, while in other units, according to the US Broadcasting Corporation. This number is somewhere between 50% and 70%.
Edward Bailey said that the number of people who have agreed to the corona vaccine is not as high as we had hoped, with the most heard from officials being that when the military chose to vaccinate itself. Given the opportunity, my decision is not to get vaccinated.
We are trying to educate and persuade vaccinators to get vaccinated.
On the other hand, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said during a press briefing that the military is part of the American people, so there is a tendency in the military not to vaccinate.
The rate of acceptance of the corona vaccine in the military is the same as that of the general population.
